YOU'LL NEED:
Glute-Ham machine

MUSCLES EXERCISED:
Erector spinea, gluteals, and hamstrings

Exercise Technique

  1. Lie face down on the glute-ham machine. Position your feet against the foot pads.
  2. Torso should be positioned so upper body is parallel with floor, and can bend comfortably downward through a 90 degree angle.
  3. Put hands on each side of head and slowly lower the upper body.
  4. Pause momentarily when you reach the bottom, then slowly return to the starting position.
