Create a stem and leaf plot of the major league baseball team that you chose yesterday.

We got the data from this site if you didn't save it.

To make the stem and leaf plot -

  1. Enter the salaries into Minitab in column 1 (you will have to type them in copy and paste won't work) Create a title (Salaries) above the column It should look like this
    • you only need to enter the salaries not the names and positions
  2. Under the graph menu go down to charater graphs and choose stem and leaf - like this
  3. Highlight the plot and copy and paste it into word - put a title with your team name above the plot.
  4. Compare your plot with 1 other classmate - (print two or three copies so you can trade)
  5. Write a paragraph that describes what the graphs tell you about the salaries of the two teams
