Assignment

In class project - real data

  1. Find a real set of data on the internet of something that you are interested in. (At least 10 data points) - list those points.
  2. Define which is the x value- (explanatory) and which is the y value - (response)
  3. Plot the data on a scatter plot. Include axis labels.
  4. Add a linear trend line.
  5. Find the slope, the y-intercept, the x-intercept, and 1 other point on your graph
  6. Find the equation of the trend line
  7. Write 3 word problems based on your data and graph
