125 Years of Music in Seward
The Seward Municipal Band is will start its 125th season on Sunday, May 27. The Seward band is one the oldest community bands in the state of Nebraska funded by the City of Seward.
Our concerts are each Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. (with the expection of July 4 which will be at 1:00 p.m.) at the Seward Bandshell on the southeast corner of Fifth Street and Jackson Avenue. In case of bad weather, our concerts will be at the Seward Civic Center Auditorium.
Our concerts include a wide variety of music: marches, polkas, hymn arrangements, Broadway musical medleys, concert band compositions, TV theme songs, and golden oldies. Every concert begins with the audience rising to their feet for the "Star-Spangled Banner".
