What's so great about learning leadership skills?
Successful communities are made up of diverse people who know how to work together. Leaders of successful communities possess critical leadership skills that enhance their abilities to solve local concerns and problems.
LeadershipPLENTY is a comprehensive program focusing on how individuals within groups can learn to work together and take action on behalf of their communities.
LeadershipPLENTY equips you with the skills, attitudes and relationships required to build stronger communities and organizations.
What can you expect to gain from LeadershipPLENTY?
Each of the sessions builds on another focusing on group dynamics, exploring specific techniques for managing meetings, dealing with conflict and developing parnerships, and then focusing on skills needed to plan and implement concrete projects to address specific issues.
When do LeadershipPLENTY classes begin?
Typically LeadershipPLENTY groups meet once a month over the course of a year to complete the training. Each community can choose when their classes will begin each year. Most classes begin in the early fall and complete in seven to nine sessions. The session starting and ending times are very flexible. Most will meet for 4-6 hours during the day.

NOTE: One additional day in February will be required for a Statewide LeadershipPlenty Legislative visit.
This day is an all day event where participants meet with legislators and learn more about Nebraska's legislative processes and
how they can be involved. The regularly scheduled meeting in February wil still take place.
